MCD is a combination of Focus Area certifications coupled with a hands-on project to validate mastery in MicroStrategy Development. MCE and MCEP build upon MCD and include an additional focus area certification. You cannot attain MCE or MCEP until you are an MCD.

A combination of standard courses reinforced by hands-on activity, culminating with a written exam. These certifications focus on a functional area and are designed to validate proficiency in a certain aspect of full life-cycle development and deployment using the MicroStrategy platform.

Enable those who have previously passed a Comprehensive Certification Program to renew their certification status for the next 12 months by passing a written exam.

* Exam not yet available. Will be available in the upcoming months.
** The version 8 MicroStrategy Certified Developer (MCD) certification has been renamed to better match its content. It is now called MicroStrategy Web SDK Certified Developer (MSDKD). If you still hold a valid certification, you can contact education@microstrategy.com to receive an updated certificate with the new certification name.
